After creating the schedule as described above, you will generate and turn in a schedule using the following instructions. Be sure to follow these instructions in the order they are listed because they build on themselves. Make changes only to the schedule that are described below.
1. Add the six standard US holidays to the Standard calendar for the year 2019. Note: They are listed in your book as well as how they are specifically set by the US Department of Labor.
2. Create a Six Day Workweek calendar (starting from the Standard calendar) for the project and assign it to all the tasks on calendar 3.
3. Show the following columns with these names in this order: Task Name, Dur, Calendar Name, Start, Finish, Total Float, and Fixed Cost, with all data centered except Task Name (left) and Fixed Cost (right). Make all column titles Times New Roman (TNR), 12, bold, italic font, and centered.
4. Make sure that the Project Summary Task is showing at the top of the schedule.
5. Format the bar styles to ensure that all the task names appear to the right of the bars out on the Gantt chart on all of the tasks, milestones, and critical tasks.
6. Enter the fixed costs into the schedule.
7. The illustration to the right should help you picture the headings under which the tasks are to be organized using Summary Tasks. Note that this illustration shows only the summary tasks names but not the actual tasks. Organize all the tasks of the schedule using the summary task (your name) Construction Management on top for all tasks that are on calendar 1 as shown in the CAL column on the spreadsheet on the previous page followed by the

Finally, divide the tasks beneath the Subcontractor summary task the same way by contract type.
8. Adjust the column widths to be as narrow as possible, while still ensuring that the column titles and all the column data are visible and also ensuring that the task names do not wrap to a second line.
