Module 04 Assignment - Case Note Following your last session with Amanda, you made a child protection report regarding the bruise you observed on Amanda's arm and the statements she made to follow. Amanda's dad, Fred, comes to your place of work with Amanda and asks to meet with you. Once in a meeting room, Fred tells you that he has never caused harm to Amanda and that she was dishonest with you. Fred is loud and intimidating. Amanda looks down at the floor and says she lied to you. You are fairly certain that she is being coerced into taking back her earlier admission. She is presenting much differently than she does when she is alone with you. Fred says that he would like you to tell the child protection team not to contact him again and change your previous report. Instructions: Part 1: Complete an objective case note for this meeting. You may add details that were not included in the scenario or include information from previous scenarios. Part 2: Describe your case note. What ethical components did you include? Explain their importance. Why is it important to have thorough documentation? How could your documentation end up being significant in the future? Requirements: • Minimum of one-page progress note written using third-person point of view • Minimum of one-page summary of case note standards Title page in APA format No additional sources or in-text citations required, although include them if source information is used Provide case note written in third person • Explain the importance of the case note Describe standards for case note-including what must be included and what should be left out Use appropriate spelling and grammar
