Within the scope of cultural anthropology, investigating climatic change is a good option as it gives a lot of information about cultural anthropology. There are certain human activities that have a large influence on climate, leading to a change which, in turn, affects human culture and the society. It becomes important to study these changes in order to adapt, which forms an important component of survival. To study cultural impacts due to climatic changes, surveys can be done. Hence, quantitative research mythology could be followed as it includes surveys and real-time data collection. In this project, study is based on the information gathered during family visits in an experimental area. A special focus was given to the farmers for investigating changes in their cropping patterns. The study explored that these families faced a number of problems like decreased crop productivity, exposure to heat waves, limited use of forest, poor health, unpredictable floods etc. However, they have adapted to these changes by taking certain precautions. In addition, it was seen that their ability to benefit from the culture got limited. So, it is clear from the research that climatic change should be studied so that people can adapt according to the new climate alongwith prohibiting the cultures that promote its change. Also, it would be helpful in implementing guidelines and better adaptation techniques, to make the affected population flexible against the climatic changes.
