of 40 m/s and specific enthalpy of 2500 kJ/kg; and

leaves with a velocity of 90 m/s and specific enthalpy of

2030 kJ/kg. Heat losses from the turbine to surroundings

are 240 kJ/min and the steam-flow rate is 5040 kg/h.

Neglect the change of potential energy. Find the power

developed by the turbine.
