conditions of 10 bar, 750 K, and 200 m/s, while exit con-

ditions are 1.25 bar and 40 m/s. The mass-flow rate of air

is 1000 kg/h. The flow of air is assumed to be reversible

adiabatic. Calculate

(a) the temperature of air at exit, and

(b) the power output of the turbine.

Assume Cp = 1.053 kJ/kg-K and adiabatic index

1.375.
