Solution 3 Developing a Communication Strategy for Stakeholders – The communication is effective communication only when the message is understood with the same meaning to both the conveyor and the person to whom it is conveyed. The conveyor should get the knowledge about the background about the listener and then try to communicate in the way he thinks would be easy for the later to understand what he wants to convey. The strategy may be to explain certain matters in detail and certain matters in short depends on the knowledge to conveyor about the interests of the stakeholders. Messaging strategies for external and internal stakeholders – The messaging strategy differ based on the type of person to whom it is conveyed. When the message is conveyed to internal stakeholder, he may have context of the same and may not need detailed explanation. Even if some secret credentials shared, there may not be an issue. But this may not be the case while communicating with external stakeholders, the message needs to be communicated in such a way that there meaning is correctly understood by them even if they do not have any context about the same. Coordinator – Assigning a coordinator facilitates in communicating with stakeholders. The coordinator is a specified person designated only for that task and therefore, he may perform his task with more efficiency. Therefore, the use of coordinator eases the communication with stakeholders. Effect of Classification of stakeholders on communication – The classification of the stakeholder matters while deciding correct way to communicate with stakeholder. Suppose, when the stakeholder is government, the communication will be done in legal language strictly adhering to the laws and should be with exhaustive meaning.
