Question

Q3) How can we measure the resonance frequency to test our theory from question two? Using an oscilloscope and the answer to question 1 should be enough information to figure

this out. (HINT:Think about Ohm's Law) Experiment Design:After completing the questions above your group needs to design an experiment that would determine the resonance frequency of an RLC circuit. You will be given the followingequipment: 1) Oscilloscope 2) Function Generator 3) Single Capacitor 4) Single Inductor 5) Several Resistors of varying Resistance values Important things to take note of. You will be able to use both channels of the Oscilloscope. Our digital Oscilloscopes have the ability to perform math operations between the two channels (EX:Chị x Ch2, CH1 – CH2,...). You want a clear experiment design by the end of the lab section with detailed procedures and expectations. Think about reproducibility, what things should be kept constant, and out of the given materials what can you change to show any predictable trends.
