a) Calculate the distribution factor (DF) of the beam. (CO2:PO2) (C3)

b) The structure shown in Figure Q2 has experienced insufficient support condition due to

soil movement after several years in service. A forensic expert had identified the support

B settled by 20mm downward. Evaluate the member end forces of the structure, then

justify the condition of the beam, if the allowable increase of bending moment is limited
