"You want a guy with ambition. In the film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Marilyn Monroe states, 'Don't you know that a man being rich is like a female being pretty? You might not marry a lady only because she is attractive, but doesn't it help? This is a really accurate quote. Like, you want the entire thing." As quoted by Cecilia Fjellhøy. Morris' experience in journalism and excellent flair for storytelling provide believability to the film's plot. Additionally, her dedication to moral storytelling and respect to journalistic norms constitute the foundations of credibility for the viewers. The affirmative responses indicate that viewers attributed credibility to luxury and interpersonal appeal. The key takeaway is not Leviev's appearance, but how Twitter users see themselves and their emotional reaction to his projected image. The regularity with which the emotion "trust" gained credibility among Twitter users positioned the victims as unduly trusting of Leviev's activities.
