The compound planetary gear train is shown below. The numbers of teeth of the sun gear 2,planet gears 3, 4 and 5, and ring gear 6 are 24, 20, 40, 16 and 180, respectively. The arm is driven at 60 rpm CW. Use both the tabular and formula methods to determine (a) the output speed of the ring gear 6 if the input speed of the sun gear 2 is 40 rpm CCW, (b) (extra 10%) the required input speed of the sun gear 2 if the output speed of the ring gear6 is 52 rpm CW.
