The objective of this assignment is to introduce you to the basic features and functionalities of Microsoft Excel, including entering data, basic calculations, formatting, and creating simple charts. Instructions: Open Microsoft Excel on your computer. Create a new blank workbook to complete the following tasks. Save your workbook as "Excel_Beginner_Assignment" or a similar name. Complete the tasks described below. Save your work frequently as you progress. Task 1: Entering Data In cell A1, type "Product Name". In cell B1, type "Price". Enter the following data in cells A2:A6: "Item 1", "Item 2", "Item 3", "Item 4", "Item 5". Enter the corresponding prices in cells B2:B6: 10, 20, 15, 25, 30. Task 2: Basic Calculations In cell C1, type "Total Price". In cell C2, write a formula to calculate the total price for "Item 1" by adding the price in cell B2. Use the fill handle to apply the formula to calculate the total prices for "Item 2" to "Item 5". Task 3: Formatting Select the range A1:C1. Apply bold and center alignment to the selected cells. Format the range A2:A6 as a bulleted list. Task 4: Creating a Chart Select the range A1:B6, including headers and data. Go to the "Insert" tab in the Excel ribbon. Choose a "Column Chart" (a simple vertical bar chart). A chart should appear on your worksheet. Move and resize the chart as needed. Task 5: Saving and Submission Save your workbook. Create a PDF version of your workbook for submission.
