The threats of Artificial Intelligence Based on the thoughts of Stephen Hawking, Elon Musk, and Bill Gates, artificial intelligence is all set to rule the world by creating more concerns about job opportunities, military use, and its future evolution if proper action is not taken against it to regulate its extensive use and development. Firstly, there is a growing concern about how artificial intelligence might eat up the jobs of human beings. The author has quoted Bill Gates that the super intelligence of robots doing a lot of jobs will pose a threat to the potential job opportunities for human beings (Sainato, 2015). It is very concerning that it might lead to the fall of human civilization. Thus, it will be a disaster in the long run. Secondly, One of the biggest examples of how AI can rule the world can be seen in warfare. The author has provided examples of warfare and how deadly artificial intelligence can be in those situations. From drones to autonomous robots, it is getting more dangerous than even nuclear weapons. Thus, the future of humanity does not look good if AI becomes more integrated into our security system. Lastly, the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence will also rule the world. “artificial intelligence will evolve to a point at which humanity will not be able to control its own creations” (Sainato, 2015). More advancements are brought into artificial intelligence day by day. The rapid evolution of AI is getting more powerful and it can become uncontrollable. Thus, from the above discussion, it is evident that AI will rule the world by spreading its mesh in all sectors. AI might create a new world of robots in the future.
