TITLE BLOCK DESIGN ASSIGNMENT Design a title block for 8.5"x11" media using the following information: TITLE BLOCK-INFORMATION & EXAMPLES The design of a Title Block should include the following information: Project Name Space for Seal Project Site Address Use or Copy Rights Name and Contact Information of: Project Owner Draftsman Contractor Engineer/Architect In the lower right hand corner, the Title Block should include Project Name Date Page Title Sheet Number Page Scale: Revision Date Job Number When choosing the orientation of your Title Block, the size and shape of the building may become an issue. Consider the need for a more square, or a more rectangular layout space. A Title Block's proportions are dependent on the printable area of the media. Margins vary by version and plotter. The measurements below should be close, but always plot a test sheet. TITLE BLOCK - SUGGESTED PROPORTIONS HP 2800 CP Printer using: 8.5" x 11" media: A border should be created inside the printable area 1/8" in from the top, left and bottom dashed lines 3/16" in from the right dashed line An information box offset 1 1/2" in from right margin or, An information box offset 1" up from bottom margin. The font size for all text should be no less than 1/8" 11" x 17" media: A border should be created inside the printable area 1/8" in from the top, left and bottom dashed lines 3/16" in from the right dashed line An information box offset 1 1/2" in from right margin or, An information box offset 1" up from bottom margin.
