In the Bible Revelation 7:9 says in heaven there will be a great multitude that
no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language. From a
Christian worldview, heaven will be a place of diversity. We also see from the
Bible that Jesus did not avoid people because of who they were. We use the
saying Jesus walked through Samaria because at the time when Jesus was
physically on earth, Jews did not walk through Samaria. They went around
because they basically believed that Samaria was full of sinners, it was
unclean. Jesus, welcomes all, no matter their culture. We see this in the story
of the Woman at the well in Sumaria. Watch Jesus and the Samaritan Woman
At The Well, to show us the interactions Jesus Christ had with the woman at
the well. Notice that Jesus engaged with the woman in a very authentic way.
Jesus loves all people. As you enter into your industry, think of ways you can
authentically connect with others from different cultures, and how you can
show empathy and care for those who you will have as clients.
We have many cultures here on earth. Many of us probably avoid or do not get
to interact with some cultures for various reasons. When we do this, we miss
