Week 10a - Shaker head belt drive

Select size of pulleys and wedge belt for the shaker head drive based on a 7.5 kW motor running at

1400 rpm and the crank to run at a maximum of 600 rpm. The crank speed would be slowed using

variable speed drive.

The approximate centre distance is 1200 mm.
