Conduct an interview of someone employed in a field wherein he/she is actively involved in conducting interviews and engaged in investigative work. These activities should account for at least 50% of his/her employment duties. The purposes of the interview are many: to hone your skill in locating someone to interview, preparing for the interview, conducting a successful interview, learning as much as you can about the interviewee and his/her particular occupation, and perhaps to determine if you would like to follow this person’s academic, professional and/or personal path.
