Your assignment

In this assignment, students are expected to select a company (UAE based companies would be

preferred), and study how they have used technology and innovation to transform their operations or

create new products to their customers.

Students make an individual investigation into the selected company, and find evidence of their new

product innovations, innovations in marketing or customer service, or in their way of managing internal

operations.

Students should select news, article, social media treats or conduct interviews with people from the

selected company to understand what they do in terms of ensuring that the company continues to

innovate and remain competitive in the future.

Students will compile a portfolio including copies of the articles, announcements, emails and other data

sources. Start the portfolio with a short introduction to the company. Then present your evidence of three

innovations or applications of advanced technologies, and complete the paper with a conclusion and your

own analysis of the impact of these innovations on the company performance now and in the long term.
