contain at least 1000 words, and should be written in full paragraphs, not bullet points and notes.
Good examples include an online encyclopaedia (such as Britannica, but not Wikipedia), an academic
text book or a journal article. If you are not sure whether your source is suitable, please check it
with me.
Take notes on key information from your source. Then put the source away, and use your notes to
write a summary of the ideas in your own words.
You should write 300-400 words.
At the end of your summary you should include and in-text citation and then the full reference to
your source in either IEEE or Harvard format.
You should submit both your summary and your notes. Your summary must be submitted via the
VLE. Your notes can either be added to the end of your summary on the document you submit, or, if
you have written them by hand you can photograph them and send them to me by email.
