a) Develop a Finite Element Model of the loader. Think and carefully select the element types in the finite element model e.g. consider if members will experience bending or just axial stresses. Using the model, determine deformed shape of the loader i.e. nodal displacements, and the stresses in each members (or elements). Use MATLAB program to solve your model. You may develop from scratch or modify the FE MATLAB programs (given in the class) to solve the model and calculate the members deformations and stresses.
