Question 4a) For the RLC circuit shown in Figure Q4 a), answer the following: i) Calculate the frequency and rms voltage of the power supply. iii) Find the current in each branch of the circuit and the total current drawn from the voltagesource. ii) Find the total impedance of the circuit. iv) Find the power factor of the circuit and the power dissipated in the 100 resistor. v) Draw a phasor diagram showing all currents and voltages in the circuit.

b) Figure Q4 b) shows one section of a complex circuit. We know that the voltagebetween the terminals "a" and "c" is uac = 100 sin(1000t – 0.644rad) V, thevoltage between the terminal "a" and junction "O" is uao = 80 sin(1000t) V, thecurrent flowing from the terminal "b" to junction "O" is i₂ = 2 sin(1000t) A. Find theexpression of the voltage between the terminals "c" and "d", ucd.
