(1) Resistance = Resistance of inductor (measure) + resistance gen (50ohms)
Capacitor = 0.01uF
inductor = 25mH
The inductor resistance measurement is 71.4 Ohms
(2) The oscilloscope display of Vc vs time for free RCL oscillations is given below. Plot this
graph on the graph paper, and use this graph to determine the frequency and time constant
associated with the free RCL oscillations. Show clearly on the graph how you did this. Be
sure to sketch both the upper and lower envelope functions on the graph.
(3) The following two oscilloscope displays show cursors being used to determine the
frequency and time constant of free RCL oscillations. Use these graphs to determine these
two values.
